How To Build a 70cc Parmakit Tomos A35 Engine - Street Tracker Build Series Episode One
Tomos Street Tracker Build in collaboration with Tomoshop! This video series is sponsored by Tomoshop.nl! Shop for the biggest assortment of original, tuning and replica Tomos parts here: bit.ly/42FxoAm
Vintage meets modern in my journey to create a Street Tracker moped. Street tracker motorcycles have a rich history that emerged from the world of flat track racing and custom motorcycle culture. Flat track racers competed on lightweight, stripped-down bikes with simple frames and high handlebars for better control. The street tracker style began to take shape during the 1960s and 1970s when enthusiasts started adapting flat track race bikes for street use. These modified motorcycles retained the minimalist and functional design of their racing counterparts, while also being adapted for road riding. The style represents a blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality and performance, capturing the essence of the open road and the spirit of urban exploration.
Inspired by the street tracker's fusion of vintage charm and modern edge, I'm building a unique Tomos moped that contains these elements. A lightweight frame, wide street tires, raw two-stroke power, agile handling... Stay tuned as I bring this vision to life with the help of Tomoshop!

How To Build a Tomos 74cc 5-Speed Engine Reliably
This is how you build a reliable 74cc two-stroke 5-speed engine. A year ago, I uploaded a video called "Tomos 74cc APN4/4L 5 Speed Engine Build Timelapse". Back then, I did not realize slamming a Puch 74cc Airsal cylinder on a Tomos APN engine would be so problematic and expensive ;) Setup is a Puch 74cc Airsal kit, Dellorto PHBG 21mm, custom intake manifold, custom exhaust pipe and carbon fibe...
Tomos 74cc Café Racer - Complete assembly

Assembly of the 74cc moped with brand new parts. The second-last episode in the Tomos 74cc Café Racer series! Final episode will be live soon. While tuning the bike, I ran into crankshaft bearing issues twice. Perfectly shimming new L17 bearings, few kilometers riding later and radial play comes knocking on my door. Conversion from L17 bearings to solid 6203 ones will be done and a final build ...
How to Build a Carbon Fiber Exhaust Muffler
How to build an exhaust muffler at home using aluminium casting techniques and a carbon fiber tube. I've had issues with the exhaust of my Tomos Café Racer project building up too much pressure around the exhaust port. I did some calculations and figured my exhaust muffler and stinger inner diameter were too small. I decided to build an exhaust silencer for my 2-stroke moped myself using alumin...
I built a See Through 2-Stroke Cylinder using Epoxy Resin
Epoxy resin and water-soluble PVA experiment. I built a working transparent engine. I've 3D-printed the bore and ports of the 2-stroke cylinder with PVA-filament. I then built a mold and poured epoxy resin over the inner structure. Once the epoxy hardened, the PVA is dissolved in cold water. Some machining is required to get the desired dimensions. Next up is polishing to get full transparency....
Tomos 74cc Café Racer - Paintwork

2K paint, lot's of man-hours and a stunning end result. Next up is assembly! I've changed some things editing related. Quicker pace, using music etc. Let me know what you think in the comments. I like it, hope you do too! A 2.5 year project coming to an end. It's, apart from some minor details, finished. It took a lot of time prepping the frame and all the parts. Tomos 74cc Café Racer - Custom Framework

Building the frame of the 74cc Café Racer Project. A lot of custom fabrication work my friend @026_jansen helped me with. Big thanks to him. This is a bunch of footage I made over the past 1.5 years into one framework compilation. I had no plans of documenting everything in detail back then, but the amount of subs and demand for these vids grew a lot this year. Thank you all for that, really ap...

Aluminium casting at home - Custom intake manifold
Casting a custom intake manifold for my 74cc Tomos Café Racer project. When building a custom bike you face these kind of problems that no aftermarket product fits. So you make it yourself and learn new things on the way! This is my first time melting and casting aluminium and it went surprisingly well. The mold and core mold are both made from oil casting sand and it worked good in combination...

3D Printed Tomos 'Egg' Headlight with Speedometer
Changing the crank bearings to bearings that are 12 mm instead of 10 mm, means that the bearing on the drive side now are wider than the part of the crank intended for the bearing. that means that the clutch basket gets 2 mm further out on the crank axle.... How did you deal with that? Is there room for placing the clutch basket in the new position 2 mm out on axle? One would think the clutch would bottom out in the basket since it has no means of getting out in the outer bearing in the transmission case. Also, when making the seats for the bearing 2 mm deeper, how does that affect the sealings in the case, are there still enough material to make the seals sit tight?
how much for the engine if i can buy it from you
No
You can 3D print and make a DIY aluminium foundry, but you don't have a lathe? Weird/
Super built 🤩
how loud is it i want to make it but not too loud
I think the pinging may also be 24:07 the loose washer and nut on the crank :P
i love that testbench you made for breaking in engines!
How's the casting holding up? Still holding that big carb out on a long lever like that? Love the route you went with the barbecue chimney and the hair dryer, that's sick lol
Did you use stock 50cc head? If not can you use a stock 50cc head?
No you need a other
Can i install a 70cc kit on my Tomos Automatic A3L with a stock 50cc head?
That's very cool. I'm so glad I can 3D print aluminum now, because I know I would never go through all this effort.
At that size, you'd sure save a lot of money if you went through the casting effort. 3d printing is like only having a hammer sometimes and seeing nails all around you, but dang it's a great hammer
@@qoph1988 That part probably costs $150 3D printed in AlSi10Mg via CraftCloud. I just printed intake manifolds for a v12. Crazy how accessible the technology has become.
2:01 ahhh, I love to see bearings pop in like that. Lovely!
Welke epoxy gebruik jij
jb weld
Can i do it like the same by the Tomos Quadro?
Yes!
@@Tomology oke thank You! 😀

How fast mph....?
Looks awesome but i would paint some parts chrome to give its original look
Welke dremel gebruikt u
Een dremel 3000
Work of art, well done <3
thank you! :)
Waar kan ik de stofringen vinden? Lagers lukt nog wel!
Bij Tomoshop! Stofrubber en keerring
Nice bike dude 😊
thank you!
Why that piston only have 1 piston ring, isnt better to have 2 for more compression?
Some high rpm cylinders use only one ring to lower friction
Really wish you could do another restoration with some step step commentary But I’ll definitely be using these videos to rebuild a 97 targa lx I just picked up
Hope it helps you out! I am not planning on doing step by step commentary videos.
Im watching this working on 3 tomos at the same time cool video i fix and sell hit me up they are 1999 targa, tagralx pedal & none pedal.
looks like you forgot the washer shim under the clutch.
It isn't very clear on film but you can see the shim at 3:33 ;)
I need help with my moped
What's the issue?
@@Tomology My dad commented This💀Idk what he needs
I'm sure this thing would smoke my 650cc all day long xD

so what Model year and model of Tomos do these come on? looking for an upgrade to my Puch maxi and this seems ideal, disc front end, hydraulic foks etc
This one is from a 2006 Tomos Revival. EBR brand. It is a good upgrade!
I love your work. Can you tell me what size rims and tires you use?
Thank you! The front is 2.75x17 inch and the rear is 3.5x16 inch.

@@TomologyThx!!
What lube did you used for the bearings?
Atf transmission oil for the transmission bearings. 2 stroke oil for the crank bearings and all the other ones just regular bearing grease.
@@Tomology thanks, and for paint did you used any clear coat after painting ?
@@lukapintaric6312 yes I did

I like them!
